iPhones, Android devices, and other Smartphones all come pre-loaded with a Mail app.  It’s through this app that you will use your @doakcampbell.com email address to send and receive emails, and can easily set it as your default.

First, you simply need to access the Mail Settings on your phone.  These setup instructions are specific to iPhones, but all others are very similar.  And if you need help, just use the form below and we’re happy to assist.

Now we’ll setup your account for the app:

• Step 1 – tap Settings/Mail/Accounts/Add Account/Other/Add Mail Account
• Step 2 – Under the IMAP settings, fill in your Name, @doakcampbell.com Email Address, Password, and Description
• Step 3 – Here you only need to fill in the fields for the Incoming and Outgoing mail servers. Here is that information:

• • Host Name: mail.doakcampbell.com
  • User Name:  “yourusername@doakcampbell.com”
  • Password:  If it’s not pre-filled, then type it in here

You’ll notice that for the Outgoing mail server, the fields may say “optional”.  That’s because it will usually be the same.  We think it’s a best practice to go ahead and fill it in anyway.

Setting up your @doakcampbell.com email on your PC or Mac is very similar to doing it on your phone.  First you need to figure out which email “client” you’re going to use.  If you have Microsoft Office, maybe you use Outlook.  And if you’re a Mac user, then you probably use that email app.

Regardless, both should automatically setup and configure your email to work once you input the correct Incoming and Outgoing server information, your username, and your password.  This is what your Smartphone did.

HOWEVER – sometimes you just need to put in the information manually.  You’ll be given an option for security, so choose “Secure” or “SSL/TLS”, or whatever it offers.  Then here is the information you’ll put in:

Webmail is our version of Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, etc.  To access your email from any web browser anywhere on the planet, simply visit https://webmail.doakcampbell.com  Here you will enter your username and password, and voila…you’re in!
